Reclaimed Teak
Re-edition of Original Pierre Jeanneret Chair from c. 1960

Writing chair known as “Classroom chair” in solid reclaimed teak and braided canework. “Compass”-type double side leg assembly, with legs connected by a solid board at the bottom. The asymmetric right leg supports the writing panel and is affixed to form a tablet. Slightly slanted, curved canework backrest, attached to the seat by two solid supports at the bottom. All our pieces are made by hand using the exact same materials and techniques used during the Chandigarh masterplan. This item is made to order and can be customized.
